Parkarr: Mobile App to trade street-parking spots

by Parkarr

Parkarr is a mobile app that connects drivers looking for street-parking with those leaving their parking spots.

About this project

– Android Version of Parkarr

– Few Enhancements to the IPhone Version of Parkarr

– Marketing to increase our user base (Flyers, Facebook campaign, etc.)

Risks and challenges

Parkarr is a crowd-sourced app for street-parking. It works best, if lots of drivers are actively using the app. We had initially planned to scale neighborhood by neighborhood but then we were fortunate to be featured on CBS 2 News (http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2016/02/19/parkarr-parking-app/) and News 12 Brooklyn (https://www.youtube.com/watch…) and the App spread to various neighborhoods! Now its about reaching critical mass fast so that supply equals demand.
